I am an independent scholar of theatre currently exploring research options as an independent contractor while working as the Managing Director for Queer Theatre Kalamazoo. I received my PhD in Theatre History, Theory, and Literature from Indiana University. My current research involves the application of cognitive linguistics to the theory and practice of translating theatre. In addition, I am in the early stages of a book project on performing gender in eSports.
